One is Fire Escape’s attitude…..


One is audacious.
We believe that one person can change their community.  We believe that one person can make a massive difference no matter who they are or where they are from.  We believe that each individual is important and is someone worth fighting for.  It’s easy to say that God wants to reach the entire world, yet deny His power in our everyday life.  We believe that God has placed it on the heart of every individual to reach at least ONE person.


One is a movement.
Fire Escape is committed to reaching those who are far from Christ.  Our youth group is dedicated to the individual.  With everything we do, we are committed to bringing Jesus into the lives of each student that comes to Fire Escape.  And we will do anything short of sin to reach them.


One is our challenge.
The One initiative is intended to challenge each student to simply reach one other student.  It’s a challenge to focus their prayer, encouragement, blessing, and service toward one person.  By all means, just reach one.
