Why do Connect Groups exist?
Community Church is a large church that will continue to grow week after week. If you wanted, you could slip in and out each weekend, and never connect with the heart of our church. However, we believe life is not meant to be lived alone, and that life change happens not just in rows, but also in circles.
Therefore, we’ve specifically designed our Connect Groups to help a large church feel small. When you join a Group, you have the opportunity to build lasting relationships, study God’s word, pray for one another, and apply Biblical principles to the challenges we face in daily life.
Connect Groups exist to bring people together. Select a category to the right to see our full list of groups and register.
What are Connect Groups?
A Connect Group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching.
Why Should I Join a Connect Group?
It is through doing life together that our problems become smaller and God uses others to bring healing, support and encouragement to our lives—whether we realize we need it or not. Your Connect Group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but care about what is happening in your life.
How often do Connect Groups Meet?
Our Connect Groups meet for three semesters a year—winter/spring, summer, and fall. During the semester, most groups meet once a week. Connect Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life so even if you can’t attend every, single meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.
We know that people’s schedules are busy, but that most people can make a 12 week commitment. This gives you an opportunity to join a Connect Group, meet some great people, grow in your faith, and then decide if you want to stay with that group or try a different one.
